RIDING HELMETS
Be informed that serious injuries to the head can occur as a result of equestrian accidents, including brain damage and even death.  The staff of Suncoast Equine recommends that you alway wear an ASTM approved helmet when on or around horses because it can prevent or at least significantly reduce the severity of such injuries.  It is YOUR choice, however, whether or not to wear a helmet at this clinic.  If you choose not to wear a helmet, you do so against the recommendations of Suncoast Equine, and fully understand and accept the risks to your personal safety that this choice will create.  All persons under the age of 18 MUST wear an ASTM approved helmet when on or around horses at the Emerald Oaks Ranch or when participating at any Suncoast Equine activity
